I worked as a ranger in a national park at the North Sea and studied a Bachelor of Science in “Ecosystemmanagement” at the University of Goettingen, Germany. Pursueing my personal goal, to empower young people in discovering and developing their potential as creators of our common future, I co-founded the “Youth Future Project” in 2009 together with my friends.

With YFP we as students enable students and undergraduates to get to know future-looking approaches and equip them with the knowledge and project-management-tools they need, to initiate own peace- or sustainability-projects. And all this is organised by young people for young people. We arranges meetings on same-eye-level between our generation and role models like awardees of the “alternative nobel”. These meetings encourage and motivate students to get active as “youth ambassadors for the next generation”.

The Youth Future Conference to me is a highly synergetic meeting between the young power for change and the old wisdom and experience. Combine these potentials gives me a me deep meaning for life. It is my personal contribution to the big change – “for right livelihood and sustainable development”.
